Fresh Wharf Estate is a 17 acre former brownfield industrial site in Barking, Essex. It has excellent transport links with direct access to the North Circular (A406) as well as a picturesque location on the banks of the River Roding, a tributary of the Thames.
It is currently home to a diverse mix of businesses, both local and national at Muirhead Quay. The Northern part of the site is being developed following planning permission for an exciting mixed-use regeneration programme. This will provide a substantial new residential development on the edge of Barking town centre and adjacent to the River Roding.
The site consists of:
- Muirhead Quay
- Fresh Wharf
- Residential Moorings
- The Met Police custody and patrol base for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham
